TART - an innovative mobile application, complete with social media platforms, allows individuals to have IMMEDIATE information about art events. Going beyond providing simple listings, TART offers unique services that no other application, web or social media platform provides – and all in one mobile location. A night out becomes simple with reviews, maps, and evening resources – all with a few clicks on your TART iPhone App.

This initial version is designed specifically for the iOS market. Our service to the user will be constantly updated information regarding art activities throughout San Diego, to which they will have immediate access. Unlike any web based listing in San Diego, it will represent all the art forms and be accessed through a mobile application.

● I WANT… - Making TART uniquely singular, TART’s “I Want…” lets you, the user, choose the genre you’re looking for. In one app, TART gives you access to:

No other art/event search app provides such broad, yet entirely custom opportunities for the user to find EXACTLY what they’re looking for. Arts organizations don’t pay for this listing, so the user knows they’re getting the most comprehensive, up-to-date information. Customize your date range by spinning the wheel between 3 and 30 days from now.

● I’ve Got a Date – Do you know when you’d like to attend an art event? The unique calendar component of TART gives you all the art events for a specific date, or date range, in the future. Additionally, if you know you only want to see something recently opened, or about to close, TART makes sure you don’t miss a thing!

● My Spot – TART employs the latest mobile Geo-Mapping technology to give you art event information for your immediate location. (The current default date range is 14 days).

● Tease Me – TART isn’t only an application for you to find arts events, but TART can also make recommendations directly to you, ultimately expanding your art experience and patronage! Within just a few clicks the user will arrive at an event listing of their preferred art program. (The current default date range is 14 days)

● My Way – Customize your search based on any of the above criteria

However, the user’s evening does not end there. From every event listing the user will find a second tier of information:

○ Eats & Drinks – A listing of local eateries within walking distance
○ Cab it – A direct link to a preferred transportation provider
